Faust’s Book was the main element of scenography in director Katrine Wiedemann’s and stage designer Martin Tulinius’ highly praised Royal Theatre production in 2006.

Constructing the book was an extremely demanding technical challenge. In order to easily and automatically leaf through the five pages, which weighed about 100 kg each, the spine of the book was filled with pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical control mechanisms. Everything was constructed and produced at our workshop, and the production won the Reumert Prize for Best Scenography.
